From the early 1960s, I enjoyed writing, but I was always told that I couldn’t say what I wanted to say, or that I shouldn’t write about things the way that I saw them, because they might offend people. By my late teens, I was writing what I wanted regardless of what people said, but then people began to threaten my life and the life of my family, so I stopped writing and concentrated on acting. I did extra work at school and community theater and extra work here and there, and I would pick my venues to perform my poetry very carefully. Currently, I am too old to care about how I hold my mouth as I speak or whether I play well with others. My name is Angela Waters Bamford, I'm an author, poet, motivational speaker, minister, life coach, and storyteller. I offer great speakings to inspire the audience, and you can rest assured that the outcome will always be the same: top-class presentations at fair prices.
