My Testimony for Speaking Engagements is:
To let people know that the God who brought me through is able to bring them through too.
Encouragement: Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.” Therefore, whatever things we happen to go through, they are working together for our good. No matter what it looks like, no matter what it feels like, things are working together for our good! So be encouraged, for we shall reap our reward if we do not faint. "God is not a man that he should lie."
If we keep our mind set on God, he will keep us in perfect peace and we will be able to walk by faith and not by sight. We will embrace the fact that God wants good for us even in abundance and that we are his no matter how we think we look. God looks at us and sees us as acceptable in his sight as creations of his.
Educate: Using the re-authoring of your life story to one that is scripturally relatable (and help them to do it together if in a workshop setting).
Also give information about child abuse, rape, domestic violence, school-to-prison pipeline, sex slave market, and low self-esteem; give preventative suggestions that work with the demographics.
Empower: We speak truth to power, and we are more than conquers: they can’t beat it out, they can’t take it out of you, what God has for you is for you; there may be weeping, but it endures for a night and Joy will come in the morning, troubles don’t last always, holding on is the key and “we can do all things through Christ, which strengthens us.”
We may have to cry sometimes, we may have some sleepless nights, we may have some heartache and heartbreak along the way, but God’s grace is sufficient for thee.
Inspire (Romans 8:38–39) "(For) I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate [me] from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. "
I'm always happy to hear from you. Your feedback is welcome and I want to assist you with any questions you may have.
